New year. New goals. Same problems.

New year.

New goals.

Same problems – unless you pause first.

Before you lock in priorities for next year, stop and review what actually happened this year.

Ask yourself:

• What gave me energy this year?

• What drained it?

• What did I learn about myself as a leader?

• What needs to stop, start or continue?

This isn’t reflection for reflection’s sake.

It’s strategy.

If you don’t review the data from this year, you’ll design next year on assumptions – not evidence.

No review = same year, different calendar.

How are you deliberately closing out the year?
